Aiming to achieve the pinnacle of Paiste cymbals' signature "crystal sound," the Paiste signature model was first released in 1989, using the PAT.#4, 809, and 581 cymbals developed in 1987. The sharp, clear attack, vivid clarity, and wide dynamic range further expand the cymbal sound. From soulful sounds that reflect the heart, to sharp, straight, and tight sounds, to powerful, aggressive heavy sounds, these cymbals invigorate any musical scene. Each model has a distinctive sound and iconic name, and each one is meticulously crafted and subject to strict quality control. They are the culmination of Paiste's spirit of challenge and refined technology in the pursuit of true artistic realms. Artisanal polishing ensures a stage-ready shine. This handcrafted process does not stress the material, as machine polishing does, and does not ruin the sound. The reflector finish with very shallow grooves provides a fast attack and decay, adding a sense of "thickness" to the crispy sound that is characteristic of Paiste, making it a setting that is conscious of modern loud sounds.
