AT&T SYSTIMAX Single-Port Simplex Modular Adapter Mounting Frame, Electrical Ivory: A commercial-grade, flush-mounting wall frame constructed from high-impact, flame-retardant ther moplastic designed to snap into single-gang electrical junction boxes or mud rings. It features a proprietary clip-retention architecture designed specifically to hold exactly one individual M-Series snap-in modular jack (such as an RJ45 data jack or an RJ11 voice jack) rigidly in place behind a decorative faceplate. It is used in real life to provide a secure, professional wall connection for standalone telecommunications equipment, such as an isolated wall-mounted office telephone in a hallway, a dedicated analog fax machine line, or a single network drop for a remote utility device.
