The Northland Tungsten Mud Bug Jig appeals to bottom-feeding panfish sucking up insect larvae that are present on muddy bottoms throughout the year. The heavier-than-lead tungsten body falls fast and will punch through slush and dive to the deepest holes. Its Fathead bug-shaped body lets you effectively mimic freshly hatched insect larvae. Fish the Mud Bug Jig by using subtle strokes to imitate emerging and rising insects. Add action if you tip the fine-wire 60-degree hook with a plastic trailer. The Northland jig features glowing eyes, bodies, and colors that create even more attraction. It often pays to fish the muddy bottoms, so get down and dirty with a Northland Tungsten Mud Bug Jig!
