Endo H is a recombinant glycosidase that can cleave the core structure of high-mannose and some hybrid oligosaccharides in N-glycoproteins, removing the N-linked high-mannose from glycoproteins. Endo H is cloned from the corrugated actinomycete (Streptomyces plicatus) and recombinantly expressed in yeast. This product is tagged with His and is commonly used for complete deglycosylation of antibodies and related proteins. Features High purity—No protease, glycosidase contamination, purity ≥95%. High Activity— 1,000,000 U/mL. Good compatibility—Can be used denaturing or no-denaturing conditions. Applications Glycan Sequencing Proteomics Glycoprotein Analysis Recombinant Glycoprotein Expression Specifications English synonym Endo H Source Yeast recombinant expression Molecular Weight 60 kDa Specific Activity 1,000,000 U/mL Storage buffer 20 mM Tris-HCl pH 7.5, 50 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA Unit Definition One unit of endoglycosidase H is defined as the amount of enzyme required to hydrolyze >95% of the oligomannose from 10 μg of denatured RNase B in 1 hour at 37°C in a 10 μL reaction volume.
