●Byzance Jazz Series Made from B20 bronze alloy, hand-hammered for superior sound, and a beautiful, intricately harmonious sound with a variety of character characteristics. The Byzance Jazz series features a regular finish and exceptional sound quality, and was developed to achieve the natural, vintage sound required for traditional jazz. The overall darkness and pleasant soundscape blend intricately with the sound, creating a warm, comfortable sound. The Byzance Jazz series has won the MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award). Club Ride: Flat Rides are generally thought of as simply jazz cymbals, but they are so much more. They have no bell and are largely devoid of the typical frequencies of a ride cymbal, giving them a unique sound character unlike any other cymbal. Try using a flat ride cymbal in place of a standard ride cymbal in funk or pop songs and you'll discover hidden gems. "I use flat riding as my main riding and for timekeeping."
