Fragrant red currant, raspberry, and pink peppercorn aromas lead to distinctive crushed cranberry and strawberry fruit, with zesty pink grapefruit, tropical and herbal undertones on the finish. Zorzal offers impressive concentration, freshness, and complexity at an unbelievable price. *Organic and Natural From the winemaker: "We practice low intervention, environmentally-friendly viticulture, we do not till the vineyards, all processes are carried out manually, we use selected native plants for ground cover and we fertilize with compost to improve the vine’s resistance to diseases. Our philosophy of minimal intervention is carried through to the winery, we use spontaneous fermentation, avoid racking, not filter or clarify, we do not use additives and only add sulfur in very moderate doses." Staff Review: Aroma and taste strong with red berries (strawberries, raspberries, etc.) and pink peppercorn. Dry and fresh with just the right amount of acidity. Great with fresh salmon, tuna, or a snack of Di Bruno French Brie and homemade crostini from The Market!
