Notes of menthol and wood surround the ripe but cool aromas of plum liqueur, warm earth and soft game wisps. The big-bodied, succulent and decidedly rounded flavors possess a cares sing mid-palate that contrasts with the firm, serious and powerful finish where a prominent tannic spine shapes it. This will need at least some patience and should amply reward 12 to 15 years of it. Location: Corton “Les Grandes Lolières” is located in the commune of Ladoix. Slightly lower on the hillside than Le Rognet and Corton lieu-dits. Exposed to the south, these vines enjoy the best sunshine. Production: Around 1,000 bottles Show more
