By using some of the best cacao in the world, Dick Taylor Chocolates eliminate the use of fillers in their chocolate [like cocoa butter, soy lecithin or vanilla], which lets the true flavors of the cacao shine through. Using the finest cacao and traditional European techniques, all of Dick Taylor Chocolates are carefully crafted from the bean in their small factory in Northern California. Dick Taylor's best selling FLEUR DE SEL chocolate bar is an elevated version of a classic pairing with 73% Northerner Blend dark chocolate and hand-harvested Guatemalan sea salt from their friends at Bitterman Salt Co. They take cacao from both Akesson Plantation of Madagascar and Fazenda Camboa of Brazil, and combine it with organic cane sugar from the Green Cane Project of Brazil to craft into their very own 73% Northerner Blend. This balanced chocolate blend is complemented by delicate Guatemalan sea salt sprinkled onto the back of each bar.
