Boulder Opal Feral Dangles Elevate your ritual adornment with the kaleidoscopic depth of the Boulder Opal Feral Dangles. These handcrafted treasures from Diablo Organics are a study in untamed beauty, showcasing the vibrant, neon play-of-color that emerges from the heart of the earth's ironstone. Each weight features substantial slabs of Boulder Opal, a unique formation where precious opal is naturally intertwined with its host rock. Unlike traditional opals, Boulder Opal is formed over millions of years as silica-rich water seeps into the cracks and crevices of ironstone boulders. This result is a breathtaking "feral" aesthetic—an organic tapestry of fiery oranges, electric blues, and deep purples anchored by the grounding weight of natural stone. Product Details Gemstones: Genuine Boulder Opal from the ironstone regions of Australia. Artisanship: Set in high-quality brass with a custom-cast "feral" bezel housing. Texture: The brass features a signature heavily distressed, molten texture that mirrors the rugged landscapes where these opals are found. Unique Character: Every stone is natural and unique; expect beautiful variations in the ironstone matrix and the specific intensity of the opal's color flash. The Diablo Aesthetic These weights are designed for the collector who seeks jewelry with a primal, cosmic presence. By showcasing opal—the "Stone of Individual Perspective"—in its most rugged form, these pieces serve as both a bold style statement and a personal totem. Perfectly balanced to hang with grace, they are an essential addition to any curated ear. Sold as a pair. Wearable Style: Designed for healed, stretched lobes. To be paired with our signature Coils, Hooks, and Saddles. Care: Use a soft, dry cloth to maintain the brilliance of the brass and stones. Boulder opals are durable due to their ironstone backing, but should still be protected from extreme heat and impact to preserve the precious opal veins. Radiant energy. Handcrafted soul. Wear your magic.
