★75 ohm digital coaxial cable for professionals. Coaxial cables are essential for many audio systems, including word clocks, which are at the core of recording systems. In today's systems, where audio equipment is centered around digital, the role of digital cables has increased, and their quality has an impact on the entire system. The AS-808 V2 series is a coaxial cable for professional use that uses Oyaide Electric's "Precision Conductor 102SSC." By using 102SSC copper solid wire with a conductor diameter of 1.0Φ and a Cordel structure that is close to air insulation, which is an ideal insulation method, resistance loss and dielectric loss are reduced, allowing for accurate transmission of digital audio signals and word clocks. The precisely set impedance also prevents problems such as noise and dropouts. This 75Ω digital coaxial cable is ideal for word clock connections of clock generating/receiving devices such as clock generators, S/PDIF connections of DACs, audio interfaces, DJ equipment, and video equipment. ■Product Features●The center conductor is made of precision conductor 102SSC. 102SSC uses only virgin copper, without any recycled copper content. A wide range of techniques, including mechanical peeling to remove copper impurities, wire drawing using natural diamond dies, and two in-process annealing, are used to achieve an extremely smooth conductor surface (Special Surface Copper). The result is superior conductivity (102.3% IACS) that far exceeds that of standard copper wire. Furthermore, the wire diameter is within ±1μm, far exceeding the standard tolerance of ±8μm. Furthermore, the 102SSC precision conductor is crafted through meticulous attention to detail, including a focus on conductor freshness, minimizing shipping and production start times, and implementing production management. By using a sufficient conductor diameter of 1.0Φ solid wire and high-quality precision conductor 102SSC, transmission loss due to conductor resistance is prevented. ●The shield is double shielded, consisting of a copper foil shield with a 100% shielding rate and a 102SSC mesh shield with a 90% shielding rate. ●While the cable outer diameter is equivalent to 4C (6.6 mm), the diameter of the center conductor is equivalent to 5C (1.0 mm), achieving both the ease of handling of a 4C wire and the stable transmission capabilities of a 5C wire. The RCA plug is an original Oyaide Electric plug. The center pin of this RCA plug has a tube structure to ensure a large signal transmission area. The contact points are plated with durable 24K gold to protect them from oxidation, and the internal insulation is made of FEP, which has a low dielectric constant, to reduce transmission loss. The BNC plug, which achieves accurate impedance, has a highly rigid three-body structure made of brass and Delrin. The internal insulation material uses FEP, which has a low dielectric constant, to reduce transmission loss. Show more
