The Pasta Tarot is a deck for readers of all experience levels, and even for folks who simply love a steamy baked ziti. Rooted in the authors’ queer Italian American identities, this 78-card deck and accompanying pamphlet offer readers a contemporary, playful take on tarot. The Major Arcana is bursting with pasta-rific pop culture references, renderings of chosen family, drag queens, and iconic divas. You’ll find a Corleone with a cannoli, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Sophia Loren, pop star Sophie, and Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera leading a pride parade. And don’t get us started on the suits! Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles are replaced by Corta (short pasta), Ripiena (stuffed pasta), Lunga (long pasta), and Minuta (tiny pasta), respectively. That’s fifty-six types of pasta! Pull cards to divine pasta dishes for your next dinner party. Share an introspective reading with a close friend or pull a daily card to give you an intention for the day. No matter how you use The Pasta Tarot, mamma mia, this deck has it all!
