Henri Le Roy began his career as a Biologist in Paris but soon realized his true passion was wine. In early 2004, he pursued that dream, seeking land to grow Chardonnay and Pinot N oir. With Burgundian land prices being sky high, he turned to the Jura — a region with ancient soils and mountains for cross-country skiing, a personal hobby. Henri’s most prized site is Vernambaud, a magical plot just outside the village of Grusse. It consists of two isolated parcels surrounded by forest. One belongs to Domaine des Miroirs (the famed Entre deux Bleus vineyard); the other is Henri’s. With soils rich in blue marl and naturally low yields, this site produces wines of rare precision and depth. - Terrason Wines, Importer *Natural and Organic Show more
