[AAX REVAMP 2019] In response to the trend for darker, more complex cymbal sounds, we've added a number of new rounded hammerings, which gives the cymbal a rich, complex overtone, unlike the conventional, linear, and clear AAX sound. The weight is slightly thinner than the existing model, improving response and suppressing unnecessary sustain. The original sparkling high range is complemented by a mellow low range, resulting in an extremely wide range of harmonic content. The cups are intentionally left unraveled with a wax bell finish, which controls peaky high frequencies and produces a familiar sound. [AAX Medium Hats 14pr Brilliant Finish] An all-rounder with a medium pitch and a wide range from low to high notes. The newly added hammering effect creates complex overtones, producing a sound that blends well from close to open without losing its lustrous contours.
