A JHS fuzz/distortion pedal featuring British pedals and UK vintage sounds! Mix red and blue and get intoxicated with the aged purple pedal! ------------- During that mysterious ti me we call the 1990s, a new pedal brand was founded in the UK, with unconventional ideas and truly otherworldly sounds. Though they only existed for a few years, these products became legendary, and one in particular left a particularly lasting mark. Many artists, including The Edge (U2), Jimmy Page, Radiohead, Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), and Gary Moore, have used the discontinued units, causing prices to soar on the used market, sometimes reaching $800. The Cheese Ball is a faithful and extremely accurate reproduction of the original circuit, paying tribute to one of the most fascinating brands and circuits in the history of effects pedals. The Cheese Ball features the standard Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs found on most distortion and fuzz pedals, but also features an Extra Mode Select knob that allows you to choose between four different tones and gains. The OFF position disables the Tone knob and offers a bright, trashy fuzz/distortion sound. Position 1 offers a mid-scooped sound reminiscent of a Big Muff-style rounded sound reminiscent of shredded mozzarella on a pizza without getting in the way. Position 2 offers a mid-boosted sound reminiscent of a hot knife cutting through Velveeta cheese. Finally, position 3 offers a grainy gated fuzz tone that cuts like Gorgonzola cheese when distorted. The Cheese Ball is a tribute to one of the greatest fuzz/distortion pedals ever made. Rediscover the finest aged cheese in the pedal world.
