It was developed in collaboration with legendary pedal builder Howard Davis, also known for developing the original Deluxe Memory Man. The drive circuit is JFET-based, achieving saturation just like a real tube amplifier. It responds perfectly to volume and picking dynamics. The gain control outputs a wide variety of sounds, from a preamp-like sound to a smooth breakup, and at maximum a saturated fuzz sound. When combined with the wide range of volume and tone controls, it can also be used as a tone enhancer or colored booster, adding punch and a gritty, driving feel to your sound. The custom-made enclosure and custom-made PCB featuring BEETRONICS-like graphics are also cool.
