DP187 It has a unique look with twin blade bar pole pieces. It looks provocative and typical, but the sound character is that of a single coil. To eliminate hum noise, the humbucke r structure has been downsized to the size of a Stratocaster. This model, which uses a ``dual resonance coil,'' has a sound character and output value similar to that of the Blue Velvet, and can be thought of as a noiseless version of it.
