With his inspiring and fiery playing, Calvin Rogers continues to set the bar for gospel and R&B drumming. These new signature drumsticks, developed in collaboration with him, deliv er a deep, heavy groove while simultaneously delivering fast playing. Crafted from select American hickory with a 5A gauge, these unique sticks feature a 16.5-inch overall length and a long taper for both reach and rebound, ensuring a smooth stroke. The round ball tip produces a clear, crisp tonal response from drums and cymbals, while the weight and balance of the sticks provide excellent sensitivity for any genre. "When developing my signature drumsticks with Meinl, my main goal was to create sticks that I would not only love, but would also be versatile. I wanted a consistent weight and feel. I needed a rounded tip to reduce strain on the drumhead, but I loved how this also created a crisp, sensitive feel. Finally, I wanted durability. Meinl's attention to detail resulted in a drumstick that exceeded my expectations." - Calvin Rogers・Weight Matched・Pitch Matched・Model Based Weight SelectionMaterial: American Hickory Tip: Round Size: 41.9cm Diameter: 14.2mm Taper Length: Long Weight: Medium Show more
