VINTAGE HUMBUCKER PICKUPS The 78 Model, a perennial favorite among Seymour Duncan Custom Shop products, is now available in the regular line. Seymour Duncan was known as the go-to source for tone chasers looking for custom products in the late '70s, and he rewound a PAF in 1978. While doing this custom job, he added a little spice to his usual rewinding process, resulting in a pickup with a more sensitive sound character in terms of harmonics. The 78 Model features an Alnico 2 magnet and coils wound to the exact same specifications as the original PAF Rewind model custom built at the time. This magnet and output combination delivers a warm crunch, perfect for heavy arm playing and the iconic lead and tapping sounds of the late '70s and '80s.TONE PROFILES DCR: 7.9k MAGNET: ALNICO 2 CABLE: 4C SHIELDED
