[Vic Firth's new standard model of drumsticks] [American Classic NE-1 - by Mike Johnston] This model is the embodiment of the ideas of world-renowned drummer and educator Mike John ston, using Vic Firth's technology. The concept was to create easy-to-use drumsticks developed to help all drummers improve their skills, no excuses. Mike has worked with almost every design currently in stock at Vic Firth, examining the tip, taper, length, diameter, material and overall balance to create the best model possible. This is the birth of a new standard in drumsticks that drummers can use for all purposes, transcending all styles. ●By positioning the diameter between 5A and 5B and making the length slightly shorter, we have created a design that is easy to use and has no quirks, making it flexible for a variety of musical situations. ●The long taper allows for very light stick work and an outstanding sense of balance. ●The barrel tip produces excellent response and a pleasant, dark cymbal sound.Thickness: 14.7mm Length: 406.4mm Material: Hickory Taper: Long Tip: Barrel Show more
