The TM4086+ is a drive pedal that takes the sound of an amplifier head released by Fender in the 1990s as its motif, while enhancing its versatility as a pedal. The left drive section alone is used to achieve the "clean sound of CH.A, gradually increasing natural drive, and up to the crunch level of CH.B," while the right booster section is activated at the preamp stage to achieve the "crunch to drive sound of CH.B with FAT on." The drive section is on the left and the boost section is on the right. The ON/OFF footswitch controls the master on/off for both sections, while the BOOST footswitch controls only the boost section. Additionally, it incorporates a master volume trimmer for the boost section and a switch to swap the pre- and post-boost order of the boost section. The large volume knob in the center uses a highly durable potentiometer, and its stop strength is specified as 9.18 kgf·cm or higher.
