OBNE's reverb device reimagines space The BL-37 is a device that calls into question our perception of space, unique to Old Blood Noise Endeavors. Close your eyes and you'll find y ourself in a strange place. Listen carefully to the sounds of BL-37 and be transported to a place that is not here. It features a gracefully shimmering reverb sound that is modulated at two points in the reverb tail. Intuitively manipulate the reverb sound, which is intertwined with various elements such as modulation speed and presence, reverb length and texture, using two controls. The Clock control is the magic key: the sample rate (which affects the resolution of the signal), the timing of the reverb, and the speed of the reverb modulation can all be varied by moving the slider. Move this slider to travel between parallel worlds. Set the Clock high and you'll find yourself in a tiled bathroom with short, crackling reverbs. Turn it down and the landscape distorts, revealing a space that doesn't exist in the real world, stretched and de-resolved reverbs filling the abyss and peering out at you. Show more
