Rickenbacker Bass Neck The bridge pickup uses an Alnico 5 blade magnet for power and sustain, while the neck pickup uses two ceramic magnets and a special coil for warm, clear tone . Both models feature higher output and a wider range than the stock Rickenbacker bass. The bridge model is slightly larger than the stock pickup, so please do not use the original chrome mounting ring, but use the included phenolic mounting ring.
