//Vandren Alto Saxophone Reed V12// Crafted from select cane of a specific size, V12 reeds have a thicker heel, a longer cut pallet and a slightly thicker tip than traditional reed s. A longer palette allows the reed to vibrate over a wider range, resulting in a deeper, richer tone. The thicker tip adds depth to the attack and also extends the reed's lifespan. 25 years of success with the V12 reed in the clarinet world has allowed us to bring its features and advantages to the saxophone world. With its extremely precise attack, uniformity of tone throughout the register, controlled treble, and warm, velvety tone, this new reed offers exceptional possibilities. *Pallet: The part that vibrates the most*This is the product page for the 2-piece set. ■Specifications: French cut, 10 pieces ■Hardness: 3-1/2 *Variations: 2-1/2 / 3 / 3-1/2 / 4 Show more
