The snare drum is a special instrument that reflects the drummer's individuality. Using the know-how cultivated over many years of drum manufacturing, we offer a wide range of mode ls that pursue Gretsch's unique sound. The Gretsch Grand Prix snare drum features a 1.2mm aluminum alloy shell, a 45-degree bearing edge, and the same 302 hoop construction as the USA Broadkaster and Brooklyn. This snare drum has the clarity and attack of a metal snare, but also a rich sound with a soft warmth, providing a more controlled tone that works well on stage and in the studio.
