Collector's Satin Black Brass Snare Drum The specifications are the same as the current Black Nickel over Brass snare drum, with a 1mm brass shell and a matte black finish. It has the brightness and sharpness of a metal snare drum, making it a good match for a wide range of styles and genres. The hardware features include a 3mm "True Hoop" that maintains the open resonance of a pressed hoop while also providing a sharp attack, a "MAG Throw Off" switch that uses magnets to lock the switch, and a "3P Butt Plate" that allows for one-touch adjustment of the snare tension in three stages. DW's unique ideas are also incorporated into the functionality, such as the "True Pitch 50" that allows for more precise tuning by using a finer mesh than the conventional True-Pitch tension rod.
