[Drum Station staff personally visited a factory in Istanbul, Turkey to personally select and purchase these cymbals, which are now in stock!] Bosphorus Cymbals was founded in 1996 by three cymbal makers: Hasan Seker, Ibrahim Yakici, and Hasan Ozdemir. The three are the most experienced active cymbal makers in Türkiye and are known as "masters." The three craftsmen who founded Bosphorus were close childhood friends who became cymbal makers at a very young age, and they carefully trained in every process of cymbal making, acquiring the skills. Their teachers were the masters who made legendary cymbals in the 1960s and 1970s, and they learned traditional manufacturing methods. After working at the workshop for 16 years, the three men founded their own company, but they still maintain good relationships with their former employees and continue to make cymbals to this day, with respect for their mentors from whom they learned cymbal making. The three cymbal masters continue to work together in the workshop, helping their apprentices to create perfect cymbals with their nearly 30 years of experience. In today's society where machine manufacturing has become the norm, we hope you will enjoy our exquisite handcrafted products, which are still made using traditional methods and are of the highest quality and are made by skilled artisans. [Syncopation Series] The Syncopation Series achieves a dry sound with reduced overtones by adding deep hammering by skilled craftsmen to standard hammering. This series comes in two finishes: Natural and SW (Sand Wash), making it a model that can be widely adapted to the modern music scene. <SW -Sand Wash-> A unique finish achieved by carving the surface with special tools without using a raising process. A new model that delivers a dry and calm sound while retaining a touch of delicacy. -Comments from the purchasing staff- I fell in love at first sight with the low-pitched, rough trash sound and the striking visual of this rugged hammering, so I decided to buy it. Type: Trash Cymbal Size: 18 inches Weight (measured): Approx. 1700g
