[2024 Turkey Factory Tour Selected Items] Drum Station staff traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to personally select and purchase cymbals. We have selected our staff's top picks from amo ng the many cymbals available, so please give them a try. Designed for acoustic jazz drummers, the Nostalgia Series Jazz Cymbals are a staple of the Mehmet Jazz lineup, and the lineup includes two ride models: a 50s model and a 70s model. Nostalgia 50's A dark, dry sound. The slightly larger cup and large umbrella-type curve bring out the woody sound of the sticks in a realistic way. [Comments from the selection staff] A rich, dark, and calming sound with plenty of overtones.
