[2024 Turkey Factory Tour Selected Items] Drum Station staff traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to personally select and purchase cymbals. We have selected our staff's top picks from amo ng the many cymbals available, so please give them a try. Designed for acoustic jazz drummers, the Nostalgia Series Jazz Cymbals are a staple of the Mehmet Jazz lineup, and the lineup includes two ride models: a 50s model and a 70s model. Nostalgia 70's The small cup and gentle Bellbridge design suppress unwanted noise, producing a beautiful, delicate mid-low range and a wonderful vintage sound reminiscent of the legendary Turkish ride cymbal of the 1970s. [Comments from the selection staff] It has the soft and calm sound that is typical of a 22-inch speaker, but the overtones are not too widespread and the clarity of the sound is outstanding.
