The Bacchus Japan Tune-up series features a burl poplar top with a natural color scheme. The Japan Tune-up series (commonly known as the "JT Series"), which has been highly praised by Headway and Seventy Seven, has finally been launched at Bacchus. Each JT Series product is designed to be immediately ready for players to use, with each instrument painstakingly tuned and set up in our specialized division in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Carrying on the spirit of Bacchus' premium Handmade Series, launched in 2001, we deliver instruments that players can trust with confidence and that will produce the best performances. The body top features a burl-grained poplar wood. While primarily found in North America, poplar is also familiar in Japan, as seen in the poplar avenues of Hokkaido. This model is finished in a pale hue that echoes the SYP (Somei-Yoshino Pink) color scheme previously featured in a limited edition model from the Bacchus Handmade Series. While achieving a pale burst finish requires skill, this model reproduces the skilled painting techniques of the artisans at the Asuka factory, where domestic models are manufactured. The overall appearance of the bass, including the maple fingerboard, exudes a soft atmosphere.・Slim body inherited from WOODLINE This model inherits the Dinky-shaped body that WOODLINE has cultivated through its Handmade series. It is designed to be slightly slimmer than a typical JB-type electric bass, offering excellent playability. The outer periphery of the body is finished with black binding, creating a premium, sleek look. The neck plate is made of high-density brass, an original material that is heavier than conventional neck plates, resulting in a dense, broad bass tone across the mid-low range.・WOODLINE series standard turbo switch This model also features the "Turbo Switch" familiar from Woodline models. Pulling up the tone knob engages the Turbo Switch. Connecting one single pickup in series creates a thick, humbucking-like sound.
