// Syos Tenor Originals Saxophone mouthpiece - Spark // This step-baffle, medium-sized chamber guitar produces a bright, powerful sound. It's perfect for rock and funk groups looki ng to stand out. It's reminiscent of Michael Brecker's style. [What is Syos?] Syos stands for Shape Your Own Sound, which literally means "Create your own sound." The brand name embodies our desire to help players get closer to the sound they desire. Syos mouthpieces were born in Paris, France in 2016. The concept of Syos mouthpieces was born when Pauline, an expert in wind instrument acoustics, and Maxime, an expert in auditory perception, met. The internal shape is a crucial element of any mouthpiece. The shape and length of the baffle, the shape and size of the chamber, the mouthpiece opening, the facing curve, and so on. These are all adjusted with a precision of 1/100 mm using a 3D printer. By accumulating these adjustments, the effects of each parameter are studied and digitized. This has enabled us to successfully produce mouthpieces that allow players to obtain the exact sound they desire.■Opening lineup: "5" (2.03mm)...Equivalent to Otto Link No. 5, Selmer C** Strong; "6" (2.29mm)...Equivalent to Otto Link No. 6, Berg Larsen No. 90; "7" (2.54mm)...Equivalent to Otto Link No. 7, Berg Larsen No. 100; "8" (2.79mm)...Equivalent to Otto Link No. 8, Berg Larsen No. 110 (Please consider these as a guide only) ■Material: ABS resin ■Model number: SYOS-TS-SP ■Color: Red & White (Spark limited color) ■Accessories: Outer box, drawstring bag *Ligature and cap sold separately Show more
