The Performance Series has all the hallmarks of a custom drum. This snare drum features a 1mm thick copper shell that is polished and rolled to give it a dark tone and complex over tones, while still providing a focused and balanced attack. This snare is equipped with performance quarter-size lugs and a TruePitch tuning tension rod, allowing you to dial in your snare sound with precision. In addition, DW's signature MAG throw-off and 3P butt plate work together to provide three different snare tension settings with the flip of a switch. The polished shell provides a dazzling onstage aesthetic that's perfect for live performances.
