[A classic 1970s Gene Kruper Sound Kings snare with a COB (Chrome Over Brass) shell!] This snare drum is named after the legendary drummer Gene Kruper. The shell is a COB (Chrome O ver Brass) shell made of brass with chrome plating. Slingerland's signature Stick Saber hoop (inner-wound hoop) has a brass top like the shell and a steel bottom.
