To celebrate Ikebe's 50th anniversary, we have an original Ikebe model in stock, featuring subtle differences in coloring from the regular RED HOT LONGHORN BASS! The semi-hollow Lo nghorn bass is based on the classic design that is characteristic of Danelectro. It features a semi-hollow body made of a combination of spruce and masonite, and a perfluoro saddle for a deep, rich bass. While it has a mellow, classic tone at its core, it also features a high-power lipstick, allowing it to produce a rough, gritty sound when played with a pick or slapped. In addition to its lightweight and highly portable nature thanks to its short scale, the short fret spacing and unique shape make it extremely playable on the higher frets, making it ideal for technical playing. It also features a metal nut that ensures consistent sound both when played open and when pressed, making it a highly practical instrument despite its appearance. This model differs from the standard model in that the body binding has been changed to black, giving it a sharp, cool look. The head is a matching metallic red, just like the body, and the back of the neck is also painted metallic red, giving the color balance an even redder tone, making this a truly Ikebe Red guitar. Don't miss this opportunity to get your hands on a special edition Longhorn bass! *The image is a sample.[Specifications] ■Number of Strings: 4 ■Body Shape: Red Hot Longhorn ■Body Material: Spruce (body), Hardboard (top) Body Finish: Polyester ■Color: Dark Red Metallic Neck Material: Maple Neck Shape: C Neck Joint: Bolt-on ■Radius: 14 inches ■Fingerboard Material: Rosewood ■Fingerboard Inlay: Dots Number of Frets: 24 ■Scale Length: 29.75inch(≒756mm) ■Nut Width: 1.65inch(≒42mm) ■Nut Material: Aluminum ■Bridge/Tailpiece: Traditional bridge with single Pau Ferro saddle ■Neck Pickup: Danelectro High output, High Impedance Single-coil ■Bridge Pickup: Danelectro High output, High Impedance Single-coil ■Controls: 1 x volume, 1 x tone, 3way-pickup selector switch Soft case included Show more
