The scale is 26.5 inches, which is longer than a typical long scale but shorter than the 27-28 inches used in baritone scales.This allows for the operability of a long scale while also providing the tension needed for 7 strings, making it easy to accommodate a wide range of settings with 7 strings and settings when the tuning is lowered. The bridge is a through-the-back type, which makes it easier to increase string tension and is also suitable for low-action settings and drop tunings.
