It boosts the high and low frequencies while lowering the midrange, so it won't get lost even in the drive sound of a high-gain amplifier. Not only does it deliver a powerful sound with presence even with heavy distortion, but it also produces a high-fidelity clean tone, making it an excellent pickup for both fast solos and chord backing.
