The "Eye Poplar" top features a unique grain and is finished in a "Trans Blue" satin finish, creating an exquisite match between the grain of the top and the blue color. The neck is a 5-ply laminated neck made primarily of wenge wood combined with purpleheart, allowing you to enjoy the heavy, hard, and sharp sound that only wenge can produce, as well as the quick picking response produced by the strong 5-ply neck. The scale is 26.5 inches, which is longer than a typical long scale but shorter than the 27-28 inches used in baritone scales.This allows for the operability of a long scale while also providing the tension needed for 7 strings, making it easy to accommodate a wide range of settings with 7 strings and settings when the tuning is lowered.
