Tambourine Hihat This is a two-piece steel frame tambourine that can be played like a hi-hat. The lower part is set up like the bottom of a hi-hat, and the upper part is attached t o the pull rod, so it can be played in the same way as a hi-hat. Four center posts support the movement of the upper and lower tambourines and align them for optimal response, and their bright, controlled, and crisp sound makes them ideal for use as effect sounds in drum kits, or as hi-hat sounds in low-volume acoustic percussion setups where cymbal sounds would be too powerful. The sturdy steel frame maintains its strength even when played with sticks. Eight pairs of stainless steel jingles, both on the top and bottom, are equipped, producing a brilliant tone. Show more
