*Please note that as this is an instrument that has been released for trial play in-store, there may be dents or minor scratches. The brass shell snare drum offers a pleasant, warm tone somewhere between wood and steel shells. It has the clarity of a metal shell, while at the same time retaining the dark, complex nuances unique to brass. Overtones are naturally suppressed, producing a powerful, cohesive sound.
