The "Boden Standard NX" series features a solid body structure while retaining the design and functionality of Strandberg. When .strandberg*'s revolutionary Boden series quietly emerged in the underground guitar community 12 years ago, it ushered in one of the most significant revolutions in the guitar industry in a long time. Headless guitars continue to thrive in the 21st century, stronger than ever, fueled by guitar players determined to forge ahead rather than cling to the traditions of the past. The Boden series began in 2010 with the first Made-to-Measure guitar (a fully custom .strandberg* guitar), and has undergone numerous design iterations. Since then, limited quantities have been produced in custom shops in the United States, Sweden, and Japan, with the first fixed lineup being produced in 2015. The Boden OS series is now manufactured in Asian countries, reaching a wider audience of guitar players worldwide. The resounding success of the Boden OS series has led to the launch of Original, Prog, Fusion, Metal, Classic, and numerous artist models, which have achieved even greater success and penetrated all mainstream guitar markets, including the United States, Europe, Far East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and South America. The Boden series has truly become a global guitar industry-changing phenomenon. The Standard Series guitars are designed to offer superior value and top-class performance while retaining the core features of the highly acclaimed Boden guitars, including solid body construction, custom-designed pickups, and figured maple tops. Solid bodies have a distinctly different sound and response than chambered bodies, and if you prefer the tighter sound that only a solid body can provide, the Standard Series is the one for you. For many years, the Boden Standard Series has been our most popular lineup, and now we've further improved and refined the entire line with new NX features to take performance to the next level while maintaining the value the Standard Series is known for. The Standard NX features a revised neck joint curve and arm cut for improved playability and comfort, and EGS Rev 7 hardware for enhanced durability, ease of maintenance, and acoustic tone character. The solid American basswood and maple body delivers a balanced, punchy tone that's complemented perfectly by the quarter-sawn maple neck and fingerboard. A favorite choice of top custom guitar builders and international artists, the basswood body and maple neck/fingerboard combination offers an ideal balance of warmth, body, powerful high midrange, and sweet, singing treble. *The image is a sample.
