SONOR's proud custom-made system, "SQ2". We ordered a special model to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ikebe Musical Instruments' founding from their German headquarters factor y, which produces a wide variety of unique drums. This is the ultimate custom drum, made possible through the generous cooperation of our masters. The finish, "Blue Burst on Scandinavian Birch," is the ultimate custom finish that is not normally available on the SQ2 system. The intricately plated black parts create a modern impression, and the vibrant blue sunburst applied to the grain of Scandinavian Birch, a timeless classic that has long been a favorite at SONOR, creates a deep impression that the viewer will never tire of. The final finish is a high-gloss lacquer finish, which gives it a three-dimensional transparency. The Vintage shell, made from thin maple, produces a mellow, bright, sharp and tight sound. Combined with its 6-inch depth, it has versatile specs that make it a perfect match for any musical genre. Only five of these snare drums will be produced.
