It is made from a single piece of leather approximately 4mm thick, and the buckle is made of brass. The leather used is Chromexcel oiled leather from Horween, a long-established American tannery. Chrome Excel is a durable leather that is also used for work boots and engineer boots. Since only the surface of the leather is dyed, which is a different color from the core, it is also known as brown core leather. Brown core leather is a leather that you can enjoy slowly growing over time, as the brown base will become more apparent in areas that are frequently rubbed or touched with use. The strap hole is 10mm and is compatible with lock pins.
