// Vanodren Leather Ligatrure with Leather Cap // Made from high-quality genuine leather, the reed and mouthpiece are meticulously and expertly sewn in accordance with the traditio nal handmade process to ensure perfect harmony. Leather is a living material, so it has the ideal combination of rigidity and flexibility. Its elasticity absorbs harmonics that often cause a sound to sound "bright" or "harsh." Additionally, it contacts a wider area of the mouthpiece surface, producing a more solid, compact sound. The single screw at the top of the ligature is gold-plated and tightens the ligature evenly and accurately. Leather ligatures come with a special wooden mold that helps maintain the shape of the ligature. *Since it is made of genuine leather, the reed may not be firmly fixed in place with some mouthpieces until it becomes accustomed to the material.■Size: For general tenor saxophone rubber mouthpieces, such as Vandoren rubber mouthpieces (excluding V16 Metal) ■Size: For tenor saxophone rubber mouthpieces ■Type: Reverse fastening ■Leather cap included ■3 pressure plates included ■Outer box included Show more
