The first in Boss's compact effects pedal series, the "OD-1" overdrive pedal, which continues to be loved around the world, has arrived. This is an OD-1, shipped around 1979. It fe atures a full-width dash in the model name, silver screws, and skeleton switch parts. While there are some minor scratches and signs of use on the casing, it's in relatively good condition considering its age. The LED light is slightly dim. There is some deterioration in the pedal guide bushings (the rubber around the set screws). The op-amp IC is a dual-chip JRC4558D with a glossy finish. The warm, glossy, and natural overdrive sound produced by the asymmetrical clipping using diodes and the simple controls is very pleasing. Accessories: None *This model is compatible with ACA adapters. Heartman Vintage Guitars is a specialty store for vintage guitars and basses operated by Ikebe Musical Instruments. Show more
