Born as the signature model for Tomohito Aoki, one of Japan's leading bassists, ATELIER Z has produced many highly refined, all-around active JB models, making it one of the most popular brands attracting attention from many users. This model is the signature model of BOH, a highly skilled bassist who debuted with BINECKS primarily using a 6-string bass, and has since become widely known for his wide range of activities, including playing in the session band Kari BAND and as a studio musician in various events and backing bands for artists. His masterful playing style and technique with the 6-string bass have captivated listeners around the world and garnered significant attention. The top wood is made of beautiful 5A quilted maple. Combined with the vibrant burst color, the wood grain stands out beautifully. Between each pickup, the familiar acrylic finger ramp from the 6-string "BOH'S Custom 6" model is installed, which improves the stability of pinking and the playability of technical phrases. The pickups are JZ-5s, which are wide-range and noiseless thanks to the use of split coils, and the preamp is an Aguilar OBP-3.
