Godin's authentic semi-acoustic guitar, the "Montreal Premiere"! The Montreal Premiere is a new Godin semi-acoustic model that is slightly smaller and easier to carry around. This model reflects the body resonance and resonance produced by the original Breathe-Thru structure, which features a hollow section in the center block, into its sound and tone. It meticulously follows the traditional semi-acoustic style with 2 frets, a 24 3/4″ scale length, a nut width of 42.86mm, and a mahogany set neck. Featuring the highly regarded Graph Tech Resomax bridge system, this guitar boasts a Seymour Duncan Jazz (SH-2n) pickup in the neck position and a Godin Original humbucker in the bridge position. The seamless resonance between the body and neck, combined with the Godin humbucker, creates an exceptionally clear sound and tone. This is a truly authentic semi-acoustic guitar, as only Godin can deliver. The amazing thing is that the body's contour and center are molded as one piece by carving out a block of approximately 50mm. By creating a spacious soundstage, we've produced a new, transparent semi-acoustic sound and tone that conveys a sense of openness. Because of its single-cut design, the body and neck are in close contact on the 6th string side, resulting in a richer low-end resonance compared to other semi-acoustic guitars.
