This revolutionary series defies conventional cymbal design by unifying the cup size and bow angle across all inch sizes (excluding flat rides), allowing for seamless stacking. It' s the ultimate effects model, pleasantly defying the dry, dark sound suggested by its name. By eliminating lathing and employing deep hammering, it achieves a powerful attack and rapid decay. While retaining the potential for jazz sounds, it allows for the creation of electronic sounds in genres like funk and hip hop, depending on your playing style. The top cymbal is very thin, and the bottom cymbal is medium heavy, with a polished finish throughout. It produces a dark, trashy sound in the low frequencies, while also delivering a bright attack and a crisp, tinkling tone. It has a gentle, mild, and crunchy sustain, with a full, open sound that includes bright mid-low frequencies. The extremely thin top cymbal can also function as a crash cymbal or a stack cymbal.
