If we could meet in a dream, where should we go? Anywhere is fine as long as you're there. A picture book collaboration between the floral artwork left behind by Ellie Omiya and the famous song by MONGOL800. As part of the popular "Lyrics Bookshelf" series, which reconstructs song lyrics into picture books, a collaboration has been realized between the paintings of Ellie Omiya, who has worked in a wide range of fields including writing, painting, and screenwriting, and "Anata ni," a representative song of Kiyosaku of MONGOL800, with whom she had a close relationship, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary since its release in 2001. Painting and art production were said to be the passion of Ellie Omiya, who displayed her talent in many fields and passed away on April 23, 2025, in her later years. Among her many choices, flowers were a frequent motif for her, reflecting her love of nature. Kiyosaku selected many of these floral artworks and combined them with his own lyrics to create a book that evokes feelings of longing for a loved one and is filled with vibrant colors that resonate deeply. ●Kiyosaku's comment First of all, thank you for inviting me to participate in this wonderful and heartfelt project. Ellie lived her life with the lightness and exhilaration of a "comedy sketch," truly embodying the spirit of "the present." Have you finally been able to catch your breath, or are you still in a state of chaos? With such thoughts in mind, I continue living the skit that Ellie left behind. This picture book I'm glad their new piece is finished, because we still hadn't had enough sessions together. It was so much fun, let's hang out again! Kiyosaku (MONGOL800 / UKULELE GYPSY)
