The "ATELIER Z DESIGN" series, which achieves high cost performance through overseas production, is bringing back the short-scale babyZ-4J! ATELIER Z DESIGN is a new series from AT ELIER Z, a long-established Japanese brand that enjoys widespread support from both professional and amateur musicians across various genres. Produced overseas, it offers high cost performance, making it an accessible series with undeniable quality at an affordable price. This bass features a compact alder body in the MG bass style, a short-scale maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, employing a traditional combination of tonewoods. The smooth, neutral sound of the alder and rosewood combination makes it suitable for any genre. It is equipped with two newly developed original J pickups, allowing you to enjoy powerful bass tones despite being passive. A carbon support bar is set in the neck, which not only improves neck strength but also contributes to bottom-end stability. Despite its cute appearance and compact size, this model is thoroughly committed to producing a sound that is that of a full-fledged electric bass. In addition to the excellent playability of a short scale, it has a powerful sound that is on par with long scale basses, making it recommended not only for bassists looking for a compact bass, but also for guitarists as a bass for home recording. The ease of fretting due to its unique tension, and the convenience of portability due to its compact size and light weight, are features that you won't want to let go of once you get used to them. There are minor scratches, light dents, and some shine and dirt from friction, but it is perfectly usable for playing. The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and the neck is in good condition. The volume and tone potentiometers have been replaced. Weight ≈ 3.59 kg Accessories: Fender soft case Show more
