A used 1956 Goldtop Les Paul with P90 pickups and a TOM bridge has arrived! Established in 1993, the Gibson Custom Shop is dedicated to creating the ultimate electric guitars and b asses through long-cultivated high-level manufacturing techniques, an insatiable spirit of inquiry, and carefully selected materials. Even today, the Custom Shop lineup, crafted using traditional handcrafting methods and thoroughly researched vintage knowledge, boasts unparalleled craftsmanship and will become the ultimate instrument to endlessly ignite the inspiration within each player. The Les Paul model, born in 1952, has undergone changes in appearance, sound, and playability along with the evolution of Gibson. This particular model retains the original gold top coloring and P-90 pickups, but features a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stud tailpiece, making it a third-generation model. The P90 pickups have a cleaner silhouette than full-sized humbuckers, which beautifully showcases the curves of the body's top. Beyond its striking looks, this guitar boasts 19's Historic Collection specifications, including a new Bumblebee-type paper-oil capacitor and CTS pots with a vintage curve, delivering an exceptional P-90 sound that further enhances the vintage nuances and will delight any player. Crafted from tonewoods—a plain maple top/mahogany back body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard—the unique tone of the P-90 pickups, combined with the base materials, produces a robust, crisp, brilliant, and glossy tone unlike any other. The truss rod also has plenty of adjustment range. The electrical system is in good working order, but there is a small paint chip on the corner of the headstock and a few shallow dents on the body. *Please refer to the photos for any particularly noticeable large scratches or damage.
