Manufactured in 2008. A great deal on a used K.Yairi Standard Series guitar has arrived! K. Yairi is a long-established Japanese manufacturer of acoustic guitars that the world can be proud of. Committed to domestic, handcrafted production, the company's high quality has earned it a strong reputation both domestically and internationally. The YW-1000, a bestseller since its release in 1973 and highly regarded by many Yairi fans, has been reborn as the "YW-1000HQ" after undergoing specification changes that prioritize sound quality. The most significant change is that the top bracing has been shifted forward and scalloped. This improves responsiveness, resulting in a more expressive and wide-ranging sound even when fingerpicked. This model exudes luxury, with features such as the hexagonal fretboard, abalone used for the body binding, and the vertical logo on the headstock. This particular guitar shows some signs of use, but there are no major scratches or dents, and the frets are almost completely intact, making it a great bargain in relatively clean condition! It's a fantastic instrument that combines the playability of Japanese-made guitars with the powerful sound of a dreadnought.
